Coming year 2012 is the 100th year from the invention of world first Practical radiotelephone.

Over 100 Years ago, some radiotelepone system such as Fessenden system(1900), Poulsen system(1903) introduced new designs.
These systems were not utilized as practical system since they were complecated or unstable.

In 1912, The "TYK RadioTelephone" is developed by three telecom engineer.
Two years after the invention, the equipment were used in practical usage .
This is the world first practical usage of Radiotelephone.

8J100TYK, organized by many electronics engineer, will make many HAM know about this telecommunication history,
and we hope many young HAM grow up to be the innovative telecom engineer.
